Cookut is committed to protect bees which are essential for pollination of most of the fruit and vegetable crops. The population of bees is colapsing all around the world, mainly because of pesticides, monocultures, pollution and diseases. Without bees the biodiversity is threatened.
United Nations
By sponsoring beekeepers throughout France, Cookut takes part in the bee safeguarding programme « Un toit pour les abeilles » (A roof for bees) and acts for maintaining the bee population. This is essential to continue research and address the problem of pesticides, pollution and bee diseases. Cookut hives are a home for 500 000 bees.
