When starting to use your cookware, simply do the following:

• Apply a thin layer of oil over the entire inside of the product, wiping with a paper towel
• Heat empty for 2 minutes over medium heat
• Let cool, then wash with soapy water

The Incroyable Casserole range required two years of research to find the best materials guaranteeing optimal cooking, ease of use, and a total absence of health risks. We therefore offer a casserole free from controversial substances in contact with your food: the safest choice on the market.

We selected the following materials:

• A 100% mineral PFAS-FREE coating in contact with food for healthy and flavorful cooking.

In practical terms, this coating is obtained simply through the high-temperature vitrification of the main component of sand (silica) and water. There are no controversial organic petroleum-based substances.

In addition to being completely inert for health, the resulting coating is both non-stick and durable.

• An aluminum alloy core

To achieve the best heating performance and reduced weight, we chose a high-performance aluminum alloy. The aluminum present in this alloy cannot migrate into food, even in the presence of normal traces of wear. Independent laboratory tests prove that aluminum does not migrate into food.

Aluminum often gets a bad reputation because for a long time, cookware made entirely of aluminum was used. These products, which could present a risk over time, have been banned in Europe for years. The aluminum core encapsulated in the vitrified sand of our casserole has nothing to do with those old products.

As a reminder, aluminum is the 2nd most abundant component in the earth’s crust. The amounts ingested through food are by far the highest on a daily basis. For example, most vegetables contain 5 to 10 mg of aluminum per kg.

• A thick stainless steel base

To guarantee the best even-heating performance, Cookut cookware is equipped with a thick stainless steel base. The "donut" design allows even heating across the entire surface, without a hot spot in the middle.

Do not overheat

To preserve your cookware for as long as possible, it is important to avoid blackening food on the coating due to excessively high temperatures.

Before each cooking session without liquid or fat, always apply a thin greasy film with a little oil using a paper towel. This will protect your cookware while still allowing you to cook without fat. It is normal for dark marks to appear on the bottom of your cookware over time. This poses no problem for cooking or health.

Utensils to use

Use only wooden, silicone, or plastic utensils, never metal ones. Never use an immersion blender with a metal end.

Avoid sprays 

Have you ever wondered why aerosol oils are not recommended for non-stick pans? The droplets burn because they are so small and prevent the non-stick coating from working properly. Instead, use oils with a high smoke point, such as avocado and sunflower oil, in their non-sprayed forms.

To clean the natural PFAS-free coating without damaging it, follow these instructions: 

• Daily hand washing: best option!

Prefer hand washing with hot water, dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge. If food is stuck on, fill with water, let it sit for a few hours, then wash. Never scrub hard with an abrasive sponge to clean it.

• Dishwasher: possible but should be limited... 

You can place your cookware in the dishwasher. However, it is clear that your product will stay beautiful and perform longer if you limit dishwasher use, which is very harsh on the product. Hand washing usually takes less than a minute and helps avoid overloading your dishwasher

• Cleaning a blackened or burnt bottom

It is important to avoid blackening or burning food at the bottom of the pan or casserole due to excessively high temperature or the absence of a greasy film (it is always recommended, at a minimum, to grease the cookware with a paper towel before use to protect your product. This greasy film does not add any extra calories to the food.).

If you cannot clean the blackened bottom with the normal method, even after soaking, we recommend the following method:

• Put baking soda on the bottom of the cookware
• Add a little water to make a paste
• Using your fingers, rub firmly and for a long time on the blackened areas to make them disappear
• If needed, add water and boil for 15 minutes
• Clean the cookware
