Before cooking
Wash your utensil by hand with warm soapy water.
Dry it with a soft cloth. The bottom of the pan must be completely dry before cooking.
During cooking
Preheat on low or medium heat for a maximum of 1 minute, then add a small amount of oil or butter. Avoid spray oils and extra virgin oils, which can damage the surface.
At Cookut, it heats up quickly: cook on low or medium heat to avoid damaging the coating. Never leave a pan heating empty and avoid cooking on high heat.
Always use wooden or silicone utensils.
After cooking
Let cool before washing with cold water to avoid thermal shocks.
Wash by hand with a soft sponge and soapy water to preserve the coating longer.
Store gently, protecting your coating.

Suitable for every hob
Induction, gas, ceramic, electric… This casserole dish works with every type of hob and is also oven-safe.
Lightweight and recycled
Made from recycled metal and designed to be exceptionally lightweight, it is easy to carry from hob to table.
What should I do before using my casserole dish for the first time?
Before using your cookware for the first time:
Use a paper towel to spread a thin layer of oil over the entire inside surface.
Heat the empty cookware over a medium heat for two minutes.
Leave it to cool, then wash it with warm, soapy water.
What is the Incroyable Cocotte made from?
The Incroyable Cocotte range is the result of two years of research to identify the best materials for excellent cooking performance, ease of use and complete food-contact safety. The result is a casserole dish with no controversial substances in contact with your food: one of the safest choices available.
We selected the following materials:
A 100% mineral, PFAS-free food-contact coating
This coating delivers healthy cooking and delicious results. It is created by vitrifying silica—the main component of sand—and water at a very high temperature. It contains none of the controversial petroleum-derived organic substances found in some conventional coatings.
As well as being completely inert and food-safe, the resulting coating is durable and non-stick.
An aluminium-alloy core
To combine excellent heat performance with a lightweight design, we chose a high-performance aluminium alloy. The aluminium within the core cannot migrate into food, even if the coating shows signs of normal wear. Independent laboratory testing confirms that no aluminium is transferred to food.
Aluminium sometimes has a poor reputation because cookware made entirely from aluminium was once widely used. Such products, which could pose risks over time, have been banned in Europe for years. The aluminium core in our casserole dish is fully encapsulated within the vitrified mineral coating and is entirely different from this older type of cookware.
It is also worth remembering that aluminium is the second most abundant element in the Earth’s crust. The aluminium naturally present in food accounts for most of our daily intake. For example, many vegetables contain between 5 and 10 mg of aluminium per kilogram.
A thick stainless-steel base
For even, efficient heating, Cookut cookware features a thick stainless-steel base. Its ring-shaped design spreads heat evenly across the entire surface, preventing a hot spot from forming in the centre.
How should I care for the coating of my Incroyable Cocotte?
Avoid overheating
To keep your cookware in great condition for as long as possible, avoid using temperatures that are high enough to burn or blacken food on the coating.
Before cooking without liquid or added fat, always use a paper towel to apply a very thin layer of oil. This protects the cookware while allowing you to cook with virtually no added fat.
Dark marks may naturally appear on the base over time. This is perfectly normal and does not affect cooking performance or food safety.
Use suitable utensils
Only use wooden, silicone or plastic utensils—never metal ones. Do not use a hand blender with a metal end directly inside the cookware.
Avoid cooking sprays
Have you ever wondered why aerosol oils are not recommended for non-stick cookware? Because the droplets are extremely small, they burn easily and can reduce the coating’s non-stick performance.
Instead, choose a non-aerosol oil with a high smoke point, such as avocado or sunflower oil.
How should I clean my Incroyable Cocotte?
Follow these instructions to clean the natural PFAS-free coating without damaging it.
Everyday hand-washing: the best option
We recommend washing your cookware by hand using hot water, washing-up liquid and a non-abrasive sponge. If food is stuck to the surface, fill the cookware with water, leave it to soak for a few hours and then wash it. Never scrub hard with an abrasive sponge.
Dishwasher: possible, but best kept to a minimum
The cookware is dishwasher-safe. However, it will stay looking good and performing at its best for longer if you limit dishwasher use, as dishwasher cycles can be harsh on the product.
Hand-washing generally takes less than a minute and also saves space in your dishwasher.
Cleaning a blackened or burnt base
Avoid allowing food to blacken or burn on the base due to excessive heat or a lack of oil. Before cooking, we always recommend applying at least a thin layer of oil with a paper towel. This protects your cookware without adding any meaningful calories to your food.
If normal cleaning and soaking are not enough to remove blackened marks:
Sprinkle bicarbonate of soda over the base.
Add a little water to form a paste.
Use your fingers to rub the paste firmly over the blackened areas until the marks disappear.
If necessary, add more water and boil for 15 minutes.
