  3. Ferritic stainless steel special for induction: for perfect compatibility with induction cooktops.

Marvellous SteelGreen stainless steel is reinforced with copper and titanium.

  • Copper: for fast, precise, and even cooking without hot spots.
  • Titanium: to improve strength and durability.
  • PFAS-free: a stainless steel cooking surface without synthetic coatings and no added PFAS.

*No added nickel. Measured traces of nickel in the food-contact layer are below 0.16%.

Compatibility with all heat sources

The Marvellous saucepan is compatible with all heat sources: gas, ceramic glass, induction, electric, and oven up to 220°C.

Before cooking

  • Wash your utensil by hand with warm soapy water.
  • Dry it with a soft cloth. The bottom of the pan must be completely dry before cooking.

During cooking

  • Preheat over medium heat for 2 minutes, never heat above ⅔ of your heat source’s capacity.
  • Pour a few drops of water into the hot pan: if they sizzle and slide, the temperature is ideal.
  • Lower the heat slightly and add some fat before cooking if needed.
  • Do not flip the food too early: wait for the first crust to form so the food naturally releases from the pan.

After cooking

  • When the utensil is still hot, deglaze with a glass of water to loosen the fats.
  • Prefer daily hand washing and dry your utensil immediately.
  • Use protective felt pads when storing your utensils to avoid scratches.

Why is our stainless steel nickel-free?

The nickel-free stainless steel of The Marvellous, also known as 21/0, is specially designed to offer excellent corrosion resistance while being induction-compatible. It uses a high chromium content (21%) combined with titanium and copper to replace the protective role of nickel found in 18/10 stainless steel (18% chromium – 10% nickel), a controversial and highly allergenic metal.

Result: identical performance to 18/10 stainless steel, but in a healthier, more accessible version suitable for people sensitive to nickel.

What is 3-ply stainless steel?

Our Marvellous cookware is made with a premium 3-ply construction – a high-performance sandwich design without an added "induction base":

  • Outer layer: magnetic/ferritic stainless steel → induction-compatible (430 stainless steel)

  • Core: recycled aluminium → excellent and responsible heat distribution

  • Inner layer (in contact with food): nickel-free stainless steel 21/0, highly resistant to corrosion for healthy and precise cooking

Nickel has been replaced with titanium for better durability and copper for enhanced heat transfer, combined with a higher chromium content for improved corrosion resistance.

✅ Result: fast, even cooking across the entire surface and sides, unlike traditional cookware with an added induction base.
